From Germany to China
Hefei: 10,000 t/yr sintered NdFeB
The Hefei project was successfully commissioned and brought together the full magnet production route: raw-material handling and charge preparation; vacuum induction melting and strip casting; continuous hydrogen decrepitation; controlled-atmosphere milling and powder blending; magnetic alignment and compaction; vacuum sintering and heat treatment; precision machining; automated GBD; protective coating; magnetization; and final testing.
Process automation, traceability, utilities and environmental controls connected these systems into an integrated operation.
Suzhou: 8,000 t/yr GBD facility
Our Metallurgy and Engineering team is now engaged in a brownfield expansion, working alongside the customer on engineering, technology integration and operational commissioning.
The focus is making high-coercivity NdFeB performance repeatable at scale: controlling diffusion chemistry and thermal cycles, resolving equipment interfaces, stabilizing yield and validating each grade against the customer’s operating requirements.
